The organizational meeting of the LCCA met March 13, 1989 at the Licking County Joint Vocational School with 38 person present.

Mr. Jim Clay gave a brief lecture on the "Intensive Management". Dr. Steve DeBruin talked about medication and preventive treatment for newborn calves. Howard Siegrist spoke on "Why a Licking County Cattlemen Association". Don Lowery, Ohio Cattlemen Association Representative gave some insight on the benefits on joining the OCA.

Jim Conrad reviewed the February meeting and conducted election of officers.

The meeting was adjourned. Refreshments were served and door prizes awarded.
